Victoria Events Centre

– 1415 Broad St, Victoria –

This multi-purpose venue is operated as a non-profit society, supporting many cultural facets of the community.

The Vic Event Centre is located directly above Broad Street Cycles, in a historical building in the heart of Victoria’s downtown.

Fully licensed, with secure bike parking, and located within stumbling distance of numerous hotels, ditches, etc.

Hoyne Brewing Co.

– 2740 Bridge St, Victoria –

Dark Matter, Helios, Devil’s Dream IPA: Hoyne’s brew list has a legendary place in our local beer scene, providing the catalyst for some of the best nights, and some of the haziest memories. Located on the edge of downtown, Hoyne shares their industrial parking lot with another stellar Victoria brewery, Driftwood.

We will have a spot to stash bags during the Feats of Strength, as well as tasters of delicious Hoyne, food from local food trucks, and protection from inclement weather.

Logan’s Pub

– 1821 Cook St, Victoria –

Watering hole for the margins of Victoria’s social scene. Logan’s is a proudly iconoclastic pub, hosting live music, flea markets, and the ‘Welcome To’ event on Friday, Nov 20th. Swing by Logan’s when you arrive in Victoria for race registration/ package pickup and to have a pint. Or three.

Keep that Saturday hangover at bay with their killer food options: the poutine is out of control, and Logan’s lays claim to one of the best burgers in town.

Western Speedway

– 2207 Millstream Rd –

The smell of burning rubber & mini-donuts. Spilt beer, and raucous cheers. Typically hosting all manner of chaotic motorsport events, Western Speedway is a true redneck paradise and has played perennial host to Cross on the Rock (www.crossontherock.com) events since 2011.

Fertile ground for a raw Canadiana cross course, the venue features a motocross track with massive dirt berms, some sweet grass and mud sections, a ripper asphalt race track, all kinds of cambers, surfaces, and plenty of room for ridiculous sscxwc-specific course features and hijinks.

Set up to spectate, the massive set of bleachers and varied elevation provide vantage points to check out the Single Speed chaos. Huge parking capacity, Western Speedway has restrooms on site, and room for team tents.

Lucky Bar

– 517 Yates St, Victoria –

Hosting the Sunday evening wrap-up party, Lucky Bar is a favourite club in Victoria’s downtown.

With Hoyne beer on tap, cocktails, cans of Lucky Lager and shots on offer, it is a perfect place to cut loose after the weekend of racing. Lucky regularly hosts live music, DJ sets and is one of the chillest places to party in the city.
